One of the biggest surprises in 2022. Her smokey, at times raspy but always powerful voice is one in a million and enthralled me right from the start. There's something paradoxical about this album, but in a good way. It calms me down and lifts me up. It sounds fresh but also rugged and torn. It's hard to explain, but the bottom line is: I can't get enough of it.
